The Malta Film Commission aims to create international awareness about Malta's unlimited potential as a film location. The Commission also serves to facilitate and assist film crews before and during their stay on the island

Mediterranean Film Studios

Founded back in 1964, Mediterranean Film Studios boast of one indoor tank and two large exterior water tanks. These were built to offer producers and directors the possibility of shooting water scenes in a controlled environment with an unlimited backdrop of open sea afforded by the unique location of the seashore.
